Jeneh Young-Owner/Groomer

After a year as a bather and training to be a groomer Jeneh received her grooming certificate in 2004. In 2006 she came to Best Friends Grooming Spa to hone her grooming skills. She became a shop manager in 2007 and managed the shop for 2 years with brief maternity leaves in 2008 and 2009. In 2009 she got the tremendous opportunity to become a co-owner. Wanting to always be a great example to her children Jeneh and Edris have strived to make Best Friends Grooming Spa a place where customers can entrust the health and wellbeing of their beloved pets.

Edris Hald-Owner/Groomer

Edris started as a bather at Best Friends Grooming Spa in 2004. In 2005 she decided to pursue other career options as pet care specialist with Petsmart. In 2007 she returned to Best Friends Grooming Spas as a bather with the goal of becoming a groomer. She was trained by Jeneh Young and Tia Neese and graduated to a groomer in 2008. She has been grooming ever since. She became a co-owner with Jeneh Young in 2009 and they have turned Best Friends Grooming Spa into a safe and welcoming environment for their pet friends.

Tia Neese-Groomer

Starting at Best Friends Grooming Spa as a bather Tia has been with the company for 10 years. She realized her aspirations to become a groomer and started working with the current owner. In 2006 Tia became a full time groomer at Best Friends Grooming Spa and quickly perfected her skills. Currently Tia works with Best Friends Grooming Spa part time as she is a loving mother of two and spends a lot of time raising her children.

Azalia Vazquez-Groomer

Walking into Best Friends Grooming Spa in 2006 Azalia became a fulltime bather. Quickly realizing grooming was a career she wanted to pursue she started training under the shops at the time owner. After 6 years in the industry Azalia stays at Best Friends Grooming Spa part time and has also gone on to pursue other career aspirations.

Danielle Kerns-Groomer

Danielle has been grooming for over 5 years. As a certified groomer she works very well with dogs and is Best Friends Grooming Spa only Cat groomer. Danielle works at Best Friends Grooming Spa part time, she uses the rest of her time raising her adorable sons and taking care of her menagerie of pets.

Christina Edmonds-Groomer

Christina Edmond started at Best Friends Grooming Spa in 2011 as a bather. She came from working with pets at Maricopa County Animal Care and Control. After a short time as a bather she expressed interest in becoming a groomer. In September 2011 Jeneh and Edris decided to teach her everything they knew about grooming. As of now Christina is working as a groomer she has perfected many of the cuts and styles but is still learning more advanced grooming techniques.

Melissa Beard-Groomer

Melissa started at Best Friends Grooming Spa in 2007. She came in as a bather with immediate goals to learn how to groom. In the middle of her groomer training Melissa and her husband moved due to his job training. Melissa finished her groomer training at salons in Lake Havasu, AZ and Idaho. In 2011 Melissa came back to Best Friends Grooming Spa part time as she is a blessed mother of twins and spends her weekdays with her family.
